Digital assistant placement (inventor, 2022)

This patent application covers techniques for multimodally conveying a digital assistant’s initial appearance and ongoing presence in virtual reality or mixed reality. Interesting design questions — and tentative answers — arose out of a series of collaborations between my design team and an AI/ML “Future Experiences” prototyping team.
