I collaborated with some brilliant machine learning researchers from Apple’s Special Projects Group on this paper. My core contributions were in the area of study design, including suggesting the use of abstract graphics as task prompts. This was done in order to avoid the experimenter priming the participants with specific words or phrasings when they explained the tasks.
